Add assembly-wide defaults for job tags and execution settings - #225
Conversation
📝 Walkthrough
Merge Risk: 🟡 Moderate · up to Jobs that declare null or empty Tags get the "default" tag instead of the assembly tags. Servers scoped to the assembly tags will not pick up those jobs. Fix this before merging. Pre-merge checks ·

Summary
Follows merged #224 and precedes #219. Add
[assembly: JobDefaults(...)]for Tags, TimeZone, MaxAttempts, and Timeout. Only explicitly supplied assembly settings become defaults; explicit job arguments override them. Omitted job tags inherit assembly tags, while explicit null or empty lists use["default"]. A job can disable its inherited timeout with null or select UTC with a null time zone. The analyzer validates each JobDefaults attribute directly and reports invalid defaults even in assemblies without jobs. Invalid assembly defaults prevent job generation even when jobs override the invalid setting. Generated registrations persist the effective settings. Defaults apply only to jobs declared in the attributed assembly.
The README, maintainer documentation, and XML comments describe precedence, built-in fallbacks, validation, and recurring time-zone inheritance.
