Reviewed. Pure version bump: actions/checkout v5 → v7 across 11 workflow files, no logic touched. Security screen: no secrets, no new deps, same trusted first-party action, no new network destinations. CI green across the board. Safe to merge from my read.

Release coordination: the 2.0 candidate needs an exact beta-to-stable image promotion fix in .github/workflows/beta.yml, .github/workflows/release.yml, and .github/workflows/release-assets.yml. I have a fully verified local fix stacked above this PR's exact head. I am checking the one remaining ownership overlap with draft #735 (.github/workflows/test.yml) before proposing a merge order. No workflow branch has been changed.

The verified release fix is now available as stacked draft #925, based on this PR's exact head. It changes none of #876's files outside the three release workflows already owned here and does not touch #735's test.yml. No merge order has changed: #876 remains first, then #925 retargets to master and reruns full CI.
