Native confirmation now supports the maintainer-approved exact own-parent checkout as well as the original synthetic merge chain. Both bind the frozen ordered prefix, exact live refs, run checkout and immutable Git evidence; own-parent support independently proves ancestry from the exact frozen trunk through every member and reconstructs the actual ORT tree. Contract checks use the immediate parent, while proof selection includes the complete contributing prefix.

Refs #2141. Source c0968dbdf7beddce011236eaa70ce1ae3acb5636 preserves implementation 7f5e56a0832da61cf1802ba67a214dbc28bf909d and merges main through dcc09e9c8601f6513eec907cfbf7d3ffbc01bf16. No shipped package or integration-contract change; no changeset needed for internal CI/process tooling.

Validation:

• Old validator fails the real-Git positive control at NATIVE_OWN_PARENT_VERIFIED_PREFIX_ACCEPTED.
• Removed ancestry fails both frozen-trunk and predecessor-edge controls. Removed member evidence fails NATIVE_OWN_PARENT_REJECTS_CONTRADICTION; removed ORT comparison fails NATIVE_OWN_PARENT_RECONSTRUCTS_TREE. Guards restored.
• Focused native/ordinary/planner/citation receipt: 98 tests / 876 assertions. Latest required preflight: 950 fast / 174 affected tests pass. Strict types and full staged lint pass at the implementation identity.
• Original real own-parent checkout and historical four-layer chain have committed immutable API/local-Git and ORT replay evidence. These historical receipts are shape evidence, not passing new candidate proof.
• Refreshed native fixtures CONTRACT: test(ci): qualify native lower contract ownership #2285/test(ci): qualify native upper inherited contract exclusion #2286: metadata passes and selects global confirmation for both; actual live/API/immutable checks pass. Upper run 39022787344 fails unit (3), job 117368053103: exact JUnit identifies two 180-second setup timeouts in draft-runtime and turn-journal-runtime. Evidence is recorded under ci: attribute repeated hosted runtime setup hook timeouts #2279. Its mounted-fixture missing-helper failure is already repaired by test(ci): supply mounted launcher import dependencies #2291 on newer main; the source branch includes that fix.
• Ordinary confirmation 39022646591 became stale after main moved. Request 39023412887 reused the cached old merge. Neither is a passing current candidate. Stale/remaining failed qualification work was cancelled after preserving identities and failures.

Blocked by #2279 for complete native proof. All owned qualification PRs are draft. Refresh fixture heads/requests from preserved source, obtain complete selected native and ordinary proof with exact current identities, then verify actual release merge/main. No current full hosted pass, completed issue or merge is claimed. No waiver or unrelated worker-stack change.

Closing as stale (maintainer ruling, 2026-10-22). The contract-comparison part of #2141 ships in #2660, rebuilt on current main as a run-time lookup of the PR's declared base. The native-candidate remainder (frozen prefix, native-candidate.ts, request-candidate.ts, planner trunk binding) is parked on #2141 until serial confirmation returns. If it resumes, port this branch onto a fresh branch from main. The branch is kept for that salvage.
