Rename nvisy-inference to nvisy-assistant; wire GLiNER2 NER into dev - #332
Two independent pieces of work, kept as two commits on one branch.
Rename nvisy-inference → nvisy-assistant
The crate is the LLM assistant engine and its provider clients, so the name now says so. Outward types renamed to match: InferenceClient → AssistantClient, InferenceConfig → AssistantConfig; tracing spans become assistant.*; the server's inference_error → assistant_error.
The provider-category naming (the Inference provider type, its permissions and capabilities) is deliberately left alone — there "inference" means model execution generally (NER/OCR/STT/LLM), spanning the provider taxonomy, not the assistant.
GLiNER2 NER in the dev stack + canonical compose names + elide update
NER (opt-in): a GLiNER2 recognizer backed by the published bento (ghcr.io/nvisycom/elide-ner:0.1.0-rc.4), behind a ner compose profile. A one-shot init container warms the model into a shared cache; the service then runs non-root with the cache read-only and the Hub offline, so request text never leaves the network. make run NER=1 brings it up and points the server at docker/engine.dev.toml (NER only). Plain make run is unchanged — pattern recognizers only.
Compose rename:docker-compose.dev.yml → compose.yaml, docker-compose.yml → compose.prod.yaml, with every reference updated (Makefile, CI, READMEs, the rustfs init script).
Dependencies:elide and elide-runtime bumped to latest main; NER image 0.1.0-rc.4.
The crate is the LLM assistant engine and its provider clients; rename it
to say so, and rename its two outward types to match: InferenceClient ->
AssistantClient and InferenceConfig -> AssistantConfig. The tracing spans
become assistant.*, and the server's inference_error maps to assistant_error.
The provider-category naming (the Inference provider type, its permissions
and capabilities) is left as is: there "inference" means model execution
generally, spanning the provider taxonomy, not the assistant.

Add an opt-in NER recognizer to the dev stack, backed by the published
GLiNER2 bento (ghcr.io/nvisycom/elide-ner). It sits behind a `ner` compose
profile — a one-shot init container warms the model into a shared cache, the
service then runs non-root with the cache read-only and the Hub offline, so
request text never leaves the network. `make run NER=1` brings it up and
points the server at docker/engine.dev.toml (NER only); plain `make run` is
unchanged, pattern recognizers only.
Rename the compose files to their canonical names: docker-compose.dev.yml
-> compose.yaml and docker-compose.yml -> compose.prod.yaml, updating every
reference (Makefile, CI, READMEs, the rustfs init script).
Update elide and elide-runtime to their latest main, and the NER image to
0.1.0-rc.4.

Walkthrough
The PR renames the inference crate and its client API to assistant terminology, then updates server integration. It also adds an opt-in GLiNER2 NER service to the development Compose setup and documents how to run it.

Summary
Crate identity and client API Cargo.toml, crates/nvisy-assistant/Cargo.toml, crates/nvisy-assistant/README.md, crates/nvisy-assistant/src/client/*, crates/nvisy-assistant/src/provider/*, crates/nvisy-assistant/src/error.rs, crates/nvisy-assistant/src/lib.rs, CHANGELOG.md, docs/ARCHITECTURE.md
The crate and public client and configuration types change to assistant terminology. Provider clients return AssistantClient; provider behavior remains unchanged. Related documentation, error messages, and tracing spans are updated. The shared elide-pipeline dependency is pinned to a specified Git revision.
Server assistant integration crates/nvisy-server/Cargo.toml, crates/nvisy-server/src/service/integration/provider_config.rs, crates/nvisy-server/src/worker/assistant/worker.rs, crates/nvisy-server/src/response/error/*
The server dependency, provider configuration, worker client resolution, and error conversion now use nvisy-assistant types. The error conversion retains its existing internal-error kind, message, and context.

Summary
NER services and engine configuration docker/compose.yaml, docker/engine.dev.toml
The ner profile adds a model-cache initializer and NER service, with a shared Hugging Face cache, readiness check, and configurable settings. The development engine config points to the service and specifies its model.
Development startup and Compose references Makefile, README.md, docker/README.md, .github/workflows/build.yml, docker/rustfs/init.sh
When NER is defined, the Makefile starts the ner profile and sets the server engine configuration. Development instructions and the test workflow use docker/compose.yaml; the RustFS comment names the current Compose files.

Merge Risk: Low · previous review d65ba
The opt-in NER setup exposes its development service beyond localhost and does not honor custom port overrides, but the impact is limited to the optional development workflow.

Review comments at @docker/compose.yaml:
- Line 133: Update the `ner` service port mapping so the host-side port binds to
`127.0.0.1`, preserving the `ELIDE_NER_PORT` default and container port 3000.
Review comments at @docker/engine.dev.toml:
- Line 14: Update the `base_url` in the selected engine configuration to use the
same `ELIDE_NER_PORT` override as Compose, retaining 3100 as the default when
the variable is unset so recognizer requests reach the published service.
