Route users and contributors across all seven netft repositories, with shared issue/PR templates and an upstream-first maintenance guide. The guide distinguishes released references from pinned candidates and requires coordinated snapshot verification without turning independent products into a monorepo.

Links and responsibilities were checked against the local repository inventory. Companion candidate PRs are netft/netft-cpp#21, netft/netft-cli#5, netft/pyNetFT#11, netft/netft-viewer#23 and netft/netft-docs#9. ROS acceptance is in progress.

Superseded by #2 after the source branch was renamed to fix/ecosystem-improvements. The implementation commit is unchanged; this closed PR retains the original discussion and acceptance history.
