Keep ddm and ddm_sdv LAN bounds inside the networks' training ranges - #1441
ddm (ddm.onnx): z bound (0.0, 1.0) → (0.1, 0.9), the training range (ssms param_bounds, Fengler et al. 2021).
ddm_sdv (ddm_sdv.onnx): t and sv lower edges 0.0 → 0.001, as recorded in the network's HF data_details.
Only config bounds change; no core code. The analytical and blackbox likelihoods are unchanged.
What users see with these LAN likelihoods: default z prior Uniform(0.1, 0.9); sv prior Uniform(0.001, 2.5); log_logit maps z into (0.1, 0.9); a fixed sv=0.0 now raises ValueError (use model="ddm"); RLSSM decision processes inherit the new bounds.
Approximate DDM models now use a z range of 0.1–0.9. In ddm_sdv, t and sv now have minimum values of 0.001; other parameter bounds are unchanged.
Default priors and likelihood floors reflect the updated bounds. HSSM-built RLSSM configurations use them, while bounds from RLSSMConfig.from_ssms_model() remain unchanged.
Analytical and black-box likelihood behavior is unchanged.
Documentation
Updated the changelog to describe the revised bounds and their effects.
… box (#1440)
ddm.onnx was trained on z in [0.1, 0.9] but the approx_differentiable
config allowed (0.0, 1.0); ddm_sdv.onnx was trained on t, sv >= 0.001
but the config started both at 0.0. Narrow the bounds to the training
range, drop the ("ddm", "z") waiver and the lower-edge rounding
tolerance from the training-box guard, and pin the corrected values.

Walkthrough
The approx_differentiable bounds for ddm.z, ddm_sdv.t, and ddm_sdv.sv now match their network training ranges. Tests pin those bounds, and the changelog describes the changes.

Summary
Update LAN bounds and validation src/hssm/modelconfig/ddm_config.py, src/hssm/modelconfig/ddm_sdv_config.py, tests/unit/modelconfig/test_lan_bounds_match_training.py, docs/changelog.md
The LAN bounds change to ddm.z (0.1, 0.9), ddm_sdv.t (0.001, 2.0), and ddm_sdv.sv (0.001, 2.5). Tests use a stricter lower-bound comparison and pin all three ranges. The changelog records the updates and their documented effects.
lnccbrown/HSSM#1422: Its RLSSM likelihood specification uses built-in model bounds, including the DDM LAN bounds changed here.

Explanation
Issue #1440 is the only active direct link. The PR changes the ddm LAN z bounds to (0.1, 0.9). It changes ddm_sdv LAN t and sv lower bounds to 0.001. The test removes the ddm.z waiver, uses a tight lower-edge comparison, and pins ddm.z, ddm_sdv.t, and ddm_sdv.sv to the training bounds. These changes satisfy the issue's coding requirements. The summary reports no core-code change and unchanged analytical and blackbox likelihoods.
Full details: Out of Scope Changes check
Explanation
The changed configuration files implement the bounds correction in #1440. The test changes verify the corrected training ranges. The changelog documents the resulting LAN behavior and affected RLSSM configuration behavior. No unrelated implementation or configuration change appears in the reviewed change summary.

from_ssms_model() takes its bounds from the ssms preset, not the HSSM
model config, so only HSSM-built decision processes inherit the change.
