- Line 464: Update StopChild to return whether the child exited within the
bounded wait, and have Tracking.StopAsync check that outcome and report
unconfirmed cleanup before treating tracking as stopped or continuing disposal;
follow the existing outcome check in the hybrid path.

HeadsetBackupWrongDevice unchanged and map only other location failures to

Block restarts while tracking children remain alive
When StopChild returns false because a receiver or gaze process survives the bounded kill, this line still clears tracking; consequently Session.Running becomes false and the tracking switch is immediately re-enabled, so the user or an autostart invocation can launch another tracking stack despite the warning. The surviving process can retain ports or GPU resources and cause duplicate output or startup failures, so preserve an explicit incomplete-shutdown state and reject Start until those children exit or the application is restarted.
Useful? React with 👍 / 👎.
Keep tracking shutdown bounded when termination or output draining fails, and report when a tracking process remains alive after cleanup. Handle Windows adapter-enumeration errors during OSC discovery, and stop lipsync status and meter timers immediately on navigation or window closure.
For an unreadable headset backup, preserve the archive and show localized instructions for moving it aside before retrying with defaults. Preserve specific wrong-headset guidance during fresh installs. These changes address late findings on #11, #12, and #14 and reuse the existing timer and error paths.
Validation: Windows Release build; bounded process shutdown, output-drain and log-retention checks; incomplete-shutdown status; WPF rapid-navigation and missing-microphone tests; existing lipsync checks; twelve backup/restore tests including corrupt-archive recovery and wrong-device guidance; localization and source checks.
