A small technical correction for alpha.1: in spec/tides.spec.json, the stop_visits resource has had "path": "Stop_visits.csv", with a capital S, since the initial schema definitions in 2022. Every other resource uses its lowercase table name as the file name, and the sample data package (samples/template/TIDES/datapackage.json) already uses stop_visits.csv, so this changes the path to stop_visits.csv to match.

Since it changes the default file name for the table (and on case-sensitive file systems, a producer following the registry and one following the sample would end up with different file names), I'm treating it as a normative change with its own CHANGELOG line rather than folding it into release prep.

Changes include:

  • spec/tides.spec.json: the stop_visits path goes from Stop_visits.csv to stop_visits.csv
  • CHANGELOG.md: one line under Fixed

It's open for comment for at least 72 hours, alongside #246 and #247, in accordance with the change management policy. @jlstpaul @lauriemerrell a look when you get a chance would be great. Thank you!

This one was open for comment for more than 72 hours per the change management policy with no objections, it has John's approval, and its CHANGELOG line is under Fixed. I'm merging it into develop as SDWG Chair per the CMP, ahead of the release PR into main. Thanks John!
