I work on open data standards and the infrastructure that makes them real for transit agencies. I led program management for TIDES (Transit Integrated Data Exchange Specification), the open standard for historical transit operations data (vehicle locations, passenger counts, fare transactions), through its v1.0 stable release and the v2.0 development cycle, and now serve as the TIDES Board-appointed chair of its Standards Development Working Group.
