Part of #466. The v0.16.0 release audit, round 2, carried four misreports on PRIVACY.md forward (trap.d/466.privacy-page-claims-vs-code.md). privacyPolicyUrl points at blob/main/PRIVACY.md, so correcting it on main updates the published page without a release:

  • The scratch file in $TMPDIR holds the log line, prompt start included, in every project, not only opted-in ones (-v log_tmp="$JIT_TMP" is unconditional; JIT_LOG_DISABLED only gates the append).
  • A tool call logs up to 120 bytes of its file path plus every /-containing word of the command, anywhere in it, lowercased, not "the first 120 bytes of its command". The auditor reproduced a URL token past byte 165 landing in hooks.log.
  • bytes-shown-* markers are not aged out (bytes-shown-<session>.txt markers are never aged out #469); the page now says so instead of "markers older than seven days are removed".
  • jit_worktree_mismatch_line runs git rev-parse --show-toplevel outside the project on every prompt/tool/path hook; named as the second exception to "reads only the project".

The scratch file holds the log line in every project, not only
opted-in ones; a tool call logs every "/" word of its command (URLs
included), not its first 120 bytes; bytes-shown markers are not aged
out (#469); the worktree check reads git metadata outside the project.

…479)

Promoted two awk-writing lessons (dynamic-regex backslash-doubling in
bracket expressions, #432; `in` as a silently-compiling reserved-word
parameter name, #442) into paths/00-manual/hooks.md's existing
awk-trap section.

Declined the remaining seven fragments, each with a citation per
paths/00-manual/00-README.md's own decline-line rule: two already
fixed by e0f8d39 (#437/#438) (#424 jit-misses.sh, half of #424
rebuild-tsv.sh), one still-live half of that same #424 fragment
(layerdir/bytesof(), filed #475), three more still-live test/workflow
defects filed as #476/#477/#478, one already fixed in PRIVACY.md by
#468/#470 (#466), and one agent-facing lesson (#437, wrong-worktree
edits) whose mitigation already exists as the supertool write op's
own [branch: ...] receipt.
