Privacy controls for chat-history avatar training #231
Hey — building Neural Nexus (https://neuralnexus.site), a consent-first living personal avatar. WeClone's end-to-end chat-history avatar workflow and localized privacy filtering hit the same problem. Curious what you'd never let run unsupervised, and whether a managed consent/export path would be useful vs pure DIY.
Thanks for raising this — this is pretty close to what I’ve been working on recently.
WeClone now has a profile review flow: extracted information can be reviewed, edited, accepted/rejected, traced back to source chats, and only approved items go into the final profile. I also added encrypted storage and explicit plaintext export recently.
So my current thinking is: extraction can be automatic, but what actually becomes part of the avatar’s persistent profile should stay under user control.
