This pull request introduces the initial setup for the auto-ledger-frontend Next.js application, including new documentation, configuration files, and the first implementation of the DMT Admin Dashboard UI. It also improves .gitignore handling for both frontend and backend, and provides agent-specific guidelines for working with Next.js.

Frontend Application Setup and Features:

  • Next.js App Bootstrapping & Documentation

    • Added a new README.md explaining how to run, develop, and deploy the Next.js app.
    • Included agent guidance in AGENTS.md and referenced it from CLAUDE.md to clarify breaking changes and best practices for this Next.js version. [1] [2]
  • DMT Admin Dashboard Implementation

    • Added app/dmt-dashboard/layout.tsx providing a sidebar navigation, authentication guard, and consistent dashboard layout for DMT Admin users.
    • Added app/dmt-dashboard/fines/page.tsx implementing a searchable, filterable table for police traffic fines, including UI elements for status and offense details.

Configuration and Environment:

  • .gitignore Improvements
    • Added comprehensive .gitignore files to both frontend_apps/auto-ledger-frontend and backend/nest-api to exclude dependencies, build outputs, environment files, debug logs, and OS-specific files from version control. [1] [2]
