Add Cartesian Maxwellian test-particle Ito drift, diffusion and smooth symmetric noise for a prescribed bath. Explicit pair Coulomb logs may depend on speed; their derivatives enter the drift. Invalid values return NaNs; malformed shapes raise errors.
Independent tests cover Rosenbluth integrals, Ito flux balance, temperature relaxation, species sums, derivatives and SI precision. The utility excludes field-particle response and guiding-center transformation.
Validation:
pytest -q tests/test_collisions.py— 23 passed; Ruff F and diff checks pass.
