onnx 1.23.0 (2026-09-18) defaults to IR 14, which the tutorial's ONNX Runtime rejects; IR 7 is the version opset 13 shipped with.

Step 4 generates its ONNX test model with an unpinned
pip install onnx;make_modelstamps the library's newest IR version. onnx 1.23.0 (2026-09-18) moved that default to IR 14, which the tutorial's ONNX Runtime rejects ("Unsupported model IR version: 14, max supported IR version: 13"). Pinir_version=7, the IR that opset 13 shipped with. Verified: the pinned model passesonnx.checkerand serves[11, 22, 33, 44]in ONNX Runtime.
