Unable to open PDF with ampersand in title

Hi,

It appears that I am unable to open one of my PDF's due to the title having an ampersand.
Example: http://www.example.com/this&document.pdf

Unfortunately I am unable to edit the PDF title due to the knock on effect it will have with other systems I use.
Has anybody come across this before and can they recommend a solution?

Try to url encode it.
