The v1.0.0 release includes Dual.Monitor.For.Mac.Installer.dmg. Download it from the release page.
The connection workflow needs both the Mac host and an iOS client. The repository currently labels the iOS App Store link as coming soon. Check the project website for client availability before expecting to complete setup.
This repository contains the landing page and icon, with the Mac installer distributed through Releases. Native application source code is not included in this checkout.
The published product overview describes:
| Capability | Intended use |
|---|---|
| USB connection | A wired display connection between your Mac and iPhone or iPad |
| Wi-Fi connection | A wireless connection workflow |
| Direct touch and trackpad gestures | Interact with the Mac from the mobile display |
| Audio forwarding | Listen to Mac audio on the connected device |
| Resolution and color controls | Adjust display scaling and appearance |
| Virtual controller overlay | Use on-screen game controls |
Actual resolution, refresh rate, latency, device support, and feature availability depend on the installed builds and hardware. This repository does not include performance benchmarks establishing 4K, 120 FPS, or zero-latency operation.
Once a compatible iOS client is available:
- Download and open the Mac installer from Releases, then follow its installation instructions.
- Install the corresponding iOS client using the official link supplied by the project.
- Connect the iPhone or iPad by USB, or place both devices on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Open the Mac host and the iOS client.
- Enter the Mac host's four-digit pairing PIN into the client.
The product documentation describes these mappings; support may vary by build:
| Gesture | Action |
|---|---|
| One-finger tap / drag | Click / drag |
| Two-finger scroll / pinch | Scroll / zoom |
| Two-finger tap | Right-click |
| Two-finger double tap | Smart Zoom |
| Two-finger horizontal swipe | Back / forward |
| Three-finger swipe up / down | Mission Control / App Exposé |
| Three-finger swipe left / right | Switch desktops |
| Three-finger double tap | Dictionary lookup |
| Four-finger pinch in / out | Launchpad / desktop |
| Five-finger tap | Siri |
If pairing fails, confirm that both apps are installed, the USB cable supports data, or both devices share the same Wi-Fi network. Reopen both apps and retry pairing.
When reporting a problem, include Mac and iOS device models, operating-system versions, app versions, USB or Wi-Fi connection type, and steps to reproduce. Do not post the pairing PIN.
