An interactive architecture canvas and distributed systems design studio for the Omarchy Linux desktop shell. Archy provides a status bar shortcut and a summonable full-screen studio surface, backed by a portable, dependency-free JavaScript model layer powering block catalogs, reference blueprints, real-time antipattern linting, scale/chaos simulation, and multi-format exports.
- 54 Canonical Distributed-System Building Blocks: Kafka commit logs, LSM storage engines, KRaft consensus coordinators, APNs/FCM mobile push, telecom SMS/email gateways, service mesh sidecars, Bloom filters, and more with strict protocol validation.
- 23 Reference Blueprints: Production architectures for Apache Kafka, Apache Cassandra, Multi-Channel Notification Systems, Uber, YouTube, Instagram/X, MFE/BFF/Istio E-Commerce, Ticketmaster, and more.
- 35 Distributed Systems Patterns: CQRS, Saga Orchestration, Transactional Outbox, Multi-Channel Fanout, Masterless Quorum Rings, Cache-Aside, and Event Sourcing.
- Real-Time Antipattern Linter: Automated evaluation across 12 architectural rules (detecting single points of failure, cascading sync RPCs, unbuffered burst writes, cache stampede risks, split-brain hazards, and unpartitioned streams) with actionable pedagogical remediations.
-
Scale & Chaos Simulator: Dynamic
$M/M/1$ queuing theory, connection pool exhaustion, cache stampede cascades, failover simulation, and traffic spike modeling. - Multi-Format Export Toolkit: Export directly to JSON/YAML, Mermaid diagrams, SVG, Docker Compose, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and Software Design Documents (SDDs).
-
System Design Learning Guide: Deep pedagogical interview and architecture documentation included in
docs/SYSTEM_DESIGN_LEARNING_GUIDE.md.

Escor click the studio exit button.
- Runtime Dependencies: None. Archy runs directly within the Omarchy Quickshell runtime. No external background daemons, system binaries, or external network services are required.
- Development Dependencies: Node.js (v18+) is optionally used to run headless automated tests and catalog validation.
- User Configuration: Archy does not overwrite, alter, or tamper with any system configuration files or desktop settings without explicit user action.
