YTM MiniPlayer

A tiny, frameless mini player for Windows that hooks into the system media transport controls. Works with YouTube Music, Spotify, VLC, and anything else that exposes a media session.

• Frameless always-on-top mini player with rounded corners and drop shadow

• Displays track title, artist, and live progress bar

Usage

Run the executable or the Python script Open YouTube Music, Spotify, VLC, or any media app The mini player appears automatically and shows the current track Drag it anywhere, customize colors, pin it on top — whatever you want

Notes

The design is made using YouTube Music for Desktop as reference. ----- https://ytmdesktop.app/ It's vibecoded, don't blame me please, I just wanted this as nobody seems to make something like this without the very long learning duration. If you can improve it, please do. It's also my first public project lol. I'm down to any suggestions

Functional PC Windows only Python 3.12+ (if running from source, no tests done for other versions of windows)
