Summary

This PR introduces the core user account and identity management features, connecting the dashboard frontend directly to our SQLite users table via the identity_bp Flask blueprint.

Key Changes Included

User Account Management: Added ability for authenticated users to view/update their display name and securely change passwords (including verification of current password hashes using Werkzeug).

Users & Roles Directory: Implemented listing and filtering of all system users directly from the database, complete with client-side pagination and real-time search.

Upcoming Iterations / Next Steps

Enhanced Directory Management: Ability to add new users and edit secondary user parameters from an administrative modal/view within the directory tab.

Theme & Style Refinement: Fine-tuning the layout and ensuring seamless integration with Light/Dark mode themes.

Reason for Submitting Now

We are merging this foundational PR ahead of final UI/theme adjustments to establish the core business logic and API endpoints in the main branch. Merging early prevents potential merge conflicts in shared codebase files (such as database utilities or layout templates) while full UI polish is being finalized in follow-up commits.
