What changes

Fewer shell errors
render --file ui.jsx and render-batch --file frames.json read the JSX from a file. Long or generated layouts no longer break on shell quoting.

Layout details that needed manual fixes

  • Text layers take name="..." and decoration="strikethrough|underline"
  • <Text> and <Instance> accept position="absolute" x y
  • <Instance tint="#hex|var:name"> recolors the vectors inside an instance, for example an icon per state
  • Bare numbers such as x=48 are read as numbers
  • Auto-layout frames keep strokes out of the layout like the Figma editor, so w="fill" children span the full width of a bordered card

Reliable icons
Icons load with one request per icon set and are cached in ~/.figma-ds-cli/icons. When an icon cannot be loaded, render says so in a note: line instead of silently drawing a placeholder.

Release 2.2.3.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

- render --file and render-batch --file read JSX without shell quoting
- text layers take name and decoration; text and instances support absolute position
- instances take tint to recolor their vectors
- bare numeric props like x=48 are parsed
- icons load per icon set in one request, are cached on disk and report a note when missing
- auto-layout frames keep strokes out of the layout like the Figma editor
- release 2.2.3
