What and why

TinyFreaky 0.4.0 is an eight-voice MicroFreak-inspired interpretation by MagicStino, also behind PulyTek. This adds only catalog/plugins/tinyfreaky.json.

Release and all downloads · Source and engine guide

16 implemented synthesis engines, a 5×7 modulation matrix, arpeggiator/rate/swing, 64-step sequencer and a native touchscreen interface. Version 0.4.0 adds sound-informed TinyFreaky preset names while preserving slot IDs, sound settings and saved-state compatibility.

Removal request: please offer 0.4.0 instead of 0.3.9/0.3.8, and retire any earlier TinyFreaky/Microfreeze listing or pending submission if one exists. I found no existing TinyFreaky registry entry or PR in the current repository. If older releases are imported automatically, please add [email protected] and [email protected] to catalog/yanked.json.

Checks

  • All platform builds passed: Force/MPC ARMv7; Windows, Linux and universal macOS VST3; universal macOS AU. Steinberg validator, Apple auval, Force VST2 host contract and engine/voice regressions passed.
  • All 456 names match the approved mapping. Local saved-state and isolated C4 audio comparisons are identical before/after renaming; all 342 playable slots pass the audible-body check.
  • Published downloads checked against GitHub SHA256 digests, file sizes and ZIP integrity.
  • catalog_check.py --catalog --expect-id tinyfreaky --expect-repo MagicStino/TinyFreaky passes with three review warnings: install.sh, uninstall.sh and plugin_list.awk use the standard older release tools pinned at 3167a8df46c085f41277537eebaba4b8d6530ea0 and differ from the newer template. Please review those installer files.
  • No manufacturer names/logos in plugin name or skin artwork; descriptive inspiration is stated in the summary.
  • Offline validation for 0.4.0; please start as Listed, not Verified. Earlier Force use is reported, but no complete 0.4.0 device/firmware test record is supplied and Gen2 verification is not claimed.
  • No framework docs changes needed: this adds one external catalog entry; source, build instructions, engine guide and release notes live in the plugin repository.
  • This registry change includes no IPs, serials, Akai stock skins or SDK files.

342 playable slots; 114 slots and six engine families remain unavailable. Preset translation is approximate and full sequence/sample payloads are unsupported. Includes credited MIT Mutable Instruments components; this is an independent interpretation rather than an exact original DSP clone. macOS builds are ad-hoc signed, not notarized.
