Changes

  • .gitignore: remove the .cursor/skills/, .agents/ and skills-lock.json entries.
  • src/input.rs: "Process {name} killed." and "Adaptive refresh on." / "Adaptive refresh off." (reports the new state) replace the exclamation-mark messages.
  • src/monitor.rs: the sustained-high-CPU alert no longer ends a sentence with an exclamation mark. The existing test matches on "Sustained high CPU" and is unaffected.
  • docs/readme-details.md: the remote-access paragraph now matches the code. monitor --remote and export --remote fetch /metrics from a running agent by URL; the agent itself stays loopback-only with no TLS or authentication, so other machines need a tunnel or authenticated proxy. Process termination does not act on a remote host. The Architecture and Limitations sections were duplicated verbatim in this file; the first copy is removed.
  • README.md: the architecture paragraph describes --remote <url> and the loopback-only agent consistently with the above.

Demo captures under demos/ are unchanged.

Validation

cargo fmt --check, cargo check --locked --all-targets, cargo clippy --locked --all-targets -- -D warnings, cargo test --locked (all suites pass), cargo bench --locked --no-run pass locally.

Remove exclamation marks from user-facing messages, report the adaptive
refresh state, drop unused ignore entries, describe remote monitor and
export as they behave, and remove the verbatim duplicate architecture
and limitations sections from docs/readme-details.md.
