What does this change?

  • A short paragraph near the top of the README that names the task in search words: a Slack alert when a SQL query returns new rows, a Zendesk ticket for each one, from PostgreSQL, MySQL or MariaDB. It links the step-by-step guides on rowfire.com (rowfirehq/rowfire-site#9).
  • pyproject.toml: keywords and [project.urls] (Homepage, Demo, Source).

Why?

People, and the AI assistants answering them, look for the task rather than for "database-derived events". The README is one of the main places assistants read about the project.

How was it tested?

Docs and metadata only. tomllib parses the file with all 12 dependencies still under [project]; uv lock --check passes.

Checklist

  • uv run ruff check . && uv run ruff format --check . passes
  • uv run pytest passes with the databases running (no code changes; left to CI)
  • Alembic migration included for any control-plane model change (none)
  • Screenshots added for UI changes (none)

The README's opening describes Rowfire in its own terms. People, and the
AI assistants answering them, search for the task: a Slack alert when a SQL
query returns new rows, a Zendesk ticket for each one. Say that in those
words near the top, linking the step-by-step guides on rowfire.com.

pyproject.toml gets keywords and project URLs, which package indexes show.
