I mostly build AI systems that have to work outside a demo.
- 🤖 Agents — LLM agents, agentic teammates, knowledge graphs, retrieval, memory, and evaluation systems
- 🎙️ Voice AI — real-time STT/TTS pipelines, WebRTC, interruption/turn-taking, and FastRTC
- 🧠 Applied ML — clinical ML, embeddings, retrieval systems, and LLM evaluation
- 🛡️ MCP infrastructure — built fastmcp-guard, an ops layer for FastMCP with API-key lifecycle management, per-key/per-tool rate limiting, and audit logging
- 🔧 Open source — I send the occasional upstream fix to projects I use, including FastRTC, Headroom, and whatever else I manage to break
- 🎹 Music + hardware — mildly obsessed with music, which apparently means building a 29-note MIDI pedalboard for a virtual pipe organ instead of just playing normally
As part of the team at AmalgamRx, I also contributed to work recognized with AI Breakthrough Awards in 2024 and 2026.
I mostly just break things until something useful comes out.
