Free, read-only NVIDIA GPU first-look utility for Linux.
Capture a fast snapshot of GPU temperature, utilization, VRAM, power, clocks, PCIe state and active compute processes without changing the system.
chmod +x nvidia-gpu-quick-snapshot.py
./nvidia-gpu-quick-snapshot.py --self-test
./nvidia-gpu-quick-snapshot.py --output ./gpu-quick-snapshot
cat ./gpu-quick-snapshot/SUMMARY.txt- GPU model, UUID and PCI bus ID
- NVIDIA driver version
- temperature and utilization
- VRAM used / total
- power draw / power limit
- graphics and memory clocks when supported
- PCIe generation / link width when supported
- active compute processes from
nvidia-smi - SUMMARY, JSON, CSV and raw evidence
This utility is read-only. It does not change drivers, clocks, power limits, persistence mode, MIG, services, processes or system configuration.
This is a quick snapshot, not a deep diagnostic or root-cause analyzer.
