Every push to main replaces the nightly prerelease, a v* tag makes a release. The Windows package ships the MSVC runtime app-local, macOS builds SDL3 and FreeType in instead of linking Homebrew's, and Linux unpacks the redux AppImage so it runs without libfuse2.

nightlyprerelease holding the three packages, and av*tag makes a release. Downloading needs no GitHub login.Fixes for clean machines: the Windows package ships msvcp140/vcruntime140 beside splashedit.exe and redux, macOS builds SDL3 and FreeType in (it linked Homebrew's libfreetype.6.dylib), and Linux unpacks the redux AppImage so it runs without libfuse2. The package step fails if any of those regress. Per-OS install notes live in docs/release-notes.md and become the release text.
