The Run on hardware button (and Build > Run on Hardware, Ctrl+F5) did nothing. It now exports the scene, uploads the PCdrv build of psxsplash to a console at the Unirom shell with SEXE (115200 8N2, CHEK/MORE chunk acks from protocol V2), then answers psxsplash's own SIO1 file calls (init, open, read, seek, close) from the export folder, showing the console's text and each call in the status bar popup. The port is a serial device or tcp:HOST:PORT for pcsx-redux's SIO1 server, set in the setup popup. A refusal is the single byte N: psxsplash checks OKAY a byte at a time and a four-byte NOPE left three stray bytes in front of its next answer. editor_tests drives the upload and file calls against a simulated console. In pcsx-redux with a Unirom cart, psxsplash built to take its serial path loads courtyard and renders it pixel-identical to the PCdrv boot. Not yet run on a real console.
