ArrowTree's childbar_offset parameter was undocumented. Rendering with indent=5 shows what it does: it moves the bars and connectors of a node's children left by that many columns, away from the column of the node's first character; 1 puts them below the arrow tip. The constructor docstring now says so. Documentation only.

Review findings and resolution

review-correctness

  • The documented behaviour matches rendering at offsets 0, 1 and 2: no action.
  • The docstring does not say what happens for offsets close to indent: left, describing the intended use is enough.
