Unreleased becomes 0.4.0 (2026-10-22): classical strength (PRD-010), algorithm classes (PRD-011), the certificate viewer (PRD-012), the TLS and SSH reports as instruments (PRD-013, PRD-014), and the accuracy fixes from real scans (PRD-015).

  • CHANGELOG: Security first; the hygiene band rename and eval/12 (new unknown section status) marked Breaking for API consumers; Added describes the final Fix first and folding.
  • The Quadlet unit, INSTALL.md and DISTRIBUTION.md name the 0.4.0 image.

After merge: tag v0.4.0 on the merged commit; release.yml publishes it as a pre-release.

Unreleased becomes 0.4.0: classical strength for every algorithm
(PRD-010), algorithm classes (PRD-011), the X.509 viewer (PRD-012), the
TLS and SSH reports rebuilt as instruments (PRD-013, PRD-014) and the
accuracy fixes from real scans (PRD-015). Security first; the band rename
and eval/12 are marked Breaking for API consumers. The Quadlet unit and
the install and distribution docs name the 0.4.0 image.
README: the one-page report (Summary with Fix first, Configuration with
folded TLS versions), 58 checks, reading the served certificate, naming
compromised roots and saying unknown for revocation; screenshots taken
again from the final build. Help: reading an SSH report, 58 checks,
revocation unknown. TLS and SSH guides and the methodology: how
certificates are read, the missing-issuer rule, compromised roots, DH
primality, revocation unknown, truncated MACs, the RSA rule that does not
apply, and the certificate page's order.
