Summary

Registry, security, package-manager shims, builds, and core pages (en+ru) now say npm/npx/pnpm lifecycle scripts inherit permission/V8 flags through npm_config_node_options only when a Governance policy is on. Default off does not write that variable. Yarn/bun/corepack/vlt are not covered. NODE_OPTIONS is not set.

Test plan

  • Read registry rows for EnforcePermissionModel, FreezeV8GlobalObjects, DisableEvalAndStringExecution.
  • Read package-manager shim step 8 and security section 4.

npm/npx/pnpm get permission/V8 flags through npm_config_node_options
when policy is on. Default off does not write that env var.
