The sticker maker can now turn a picture a quarter turn at a time before saving it, so a photo taken sideways no longer has to be fixed elsewhere. What the preview shows is what gets saved. Scrolling past a sticker in a conversation stuttered because the picture was decoded while the frame was being drawn. Decoding now happens away from the screen, so jumping to the latest message stays smooth. The sticker and sound panels sometimes opened shorter than the keyboard. The measured height was being taken while the keyboard was still sliding, so a half-open measurement could be kept and reused. Only a settled keyboard is measured now. On the first launch the selected tab marker no longer appears from nowhere: once the bottom bar has finished forming, it falls in and settles like a drop of water.
