MATLAB lab exercises for the Digital Signal Processing course at the Technical University of Crete (2022–23).
Lab 1 - DFT, Convolution and Sampling. The Discrete Fourier Transform and its inverse, linear convolution, and sampling of continuous-time signals, looking at the Nyquist rate and aliasing.
Lab 2 - Z-Transform and Difference Equations. The Z-transform and region of convergence, transfer functions of LTI systems from difference equations, and their poles and zeros.
Lab 3 - IIR Filter Design. Butterworth and Chebyshev IIR filters, designed as analog prototypes and converted to digital filters, then used to filter signals.
Lab 4 - FIR Filter Design with Windowing. FIR filters designed with the window method, comparing different windows and showing the Gibbs phenomenon.
