I'm a software developer based in Finland with professional experience in backend development using Java, Spring Boot, Python, PostgreSQL, and JavaScript.
I have over a year of professional experience with Java, mainly developing backend services with Spring Boot. At Ritchie Bros., I worked on a Spring Boot microservice replacing a legacy multi-region cost system for a global heavy-equipment marketplace. I also contributed to reconciliation checks for an Oracle-to-PostgreSQL financial data migration, comparing data across both databases before cutover.
Alongside my main role, I worked on a startup MVP where I built backend functionality in Python and JavaScript, including a generic web scraper capable of extracting structured data from different website layouts, browser automation, data processing, and error handling.
I enjoy working on backend systems, automation, data processing, and solving problems where reliability and clean design matter. I also have a background in IT infrastructure and computer networking, which gives me a broader understanding of how software works beyond the application layer.
