Summary

  • remove the obsolete optional-diagnostic test module that asserted no behavior
  • retain the real feature and public API integration coverage

Verification

  • 64 focused integration and API tests passed
  • full suite: 3925 passed, 57 deselected
  • Ruff check and format
  • ty
  • package build
  • pre-commit
