Summary

The web editor now hides the topbar branch selector by default on deployments without branch protections while you work on the deployment branch. A new personal Branches toggle in the editor's More options menu shows it again, and the selector stays visible automatically when branch protections require pull requests or when you're on a feature branch. This shipped as a persisted per-user editor preference (default off) across https://github.com/mintlify/server/pull/7975 (API) and https://github.com/mintlify/mint/pull/10765 (editor UI).

Changes

  • Added a "Show the branch selector" section to the editor publish page explaining when the selector is hidden and how to turn on the Branches toggle.
  • Updated the publish page note so a missing Publish button and a missing branch selector point to their separate causes.
  • Linked the new section from the branch workflow guide and the "branch missing from editor" help center article.
  • Mirrored all changes in the Spanish, French, and Chinese translations.
