Unfortunately gave me an xcolor clash error

I was interested in using this package. Unfortunately when I added it using \usepackage[watermark]{gitstatus} it gave me an error:

LaTeX Error: Option clash for package xcolor

Removing the gitstatus line again stopped the error from occurring.

Are you explicitly loading xcolor in your document? If yes, could you try to load the gitstatus package after you load xcolor? If not, it would be really helpful, if you could provide a list of your imports / \usepackage{...} calls.
