Let me know if this is beyond the scope of your project and I'll fork and try my own thing (or I can try to create pull requests but I'm not much of a programmer) but a lot of this works with the Display Glasses so far.
The things currently missing are;
Once I pair the glasses I can't go back and pair the band. That also means I can't pair my second pair of Gen 1 glasses at the same time either.
Webapp support. If there's any way to get that in there I think this would be 100% worth switching from the Meta AI app.
Thanks for your hard work. I'm not a big programmer but if the Display Glasses were beyond the scope I can either fork or try for a PR but it would be mostly done through Claude.
2. I bought a pair of Meta Display glasses thursday, and should get them next tuesday, so maybe the next weekend they'll be fully supported :-)
That would be incredible. I've had a pair since launch. Just the ability to export the live caption transcripts as a text file or share to another app would be game changing. They've been working on "Live Notes" or whatever for months but it's still not out

I'll keep that in mind! I would like to also maybe make a kind of store for the webapps? (i don't know if it already exists in the meta ai app, but if it doesnt i think it could be a cool feature)
There's a few stores that work on the glasses (Herald comes to mind) but honestly it's tough to browse an app store on there, plus it's just another click to get to where you want to go.
I also found there's like three apps I regularly use so I just have those pinned to the top right (Plex, News, Home Assistant, Camera stream)
If it's something you're interested in though I'd love to see your take on it! But really I think if you just design cool apps people will come.

The most popular one is called "Herald", might be worth talking to the creator to have a direct store integration of already existing apps.
I also know Meta announced they are going to be adding an in-app store/official 3rd party app registry/directory to the Meta AI app soon.
Given you are just re-implementing Meta's AI server, I think you should get the new WebMCP support from the last update for "free", which would be huge for interacting with the webapps
