Halt before launching an autonomous coding agent when the mounted workspace is a git repo checked out on a shared/default branch (main, master, develop, development, trunk, release). This prevents an agent from editing the working tree directly on a branch the user reviews and commits from. The check runs on the host before container launch and is deliberately scoped: - coder (read-write) role only; design/spec read-only runs skip it - only when the mount root is itself a git repo root, so parent-dir/multi-repo context mounts and repo subdirectories skip it cleanly - skipped when git is unavailable on the host Applied to both run-agent.sh and run-agent.ps1 for parity.
