Codex installs package brand assets without manifest references and expose no UI entrypoint. This change wires the icon and logo metadata and registers an embedded Distill MCP App for global sidebar and thread tabs.
mise run build:plugins:devwith a separatedistill-devmarketplace, MCP server and skill. Pin the checkout's debug binary and keep dev config, index and vault underdist/dev.Validation
mise run checkpassed. Two existing semantic tests remain ignored because they require a downloaded embedding model.plugin/readresolved the icon and logo paths; the MCP inventory discovered the global/thread entrypoints and UI resource.Rollout and remaining verification
Codex owns sidebar placement and Pin preferences. Native Pin controls were not visually verified because native Codex UI automation was denied by the tool's safety restriction.
The updated Codex manifest starts
distill mcp --ui. Publish a matching CLI binary before distributing that manifest to users whose launcher downloads the existing release. Local dev installs use the rebuilt debug binary.
