Compaction-safe pass. CLAUDE.md carries the live invariants and gains five: - the 17-rung ladder is spaced by MEASURED perception, and must not be 'simplified' back to round numbers — the unevenness is the bug it fixed - human agreement with ssim2 hits 100% at a 5-point gap (84 live comparisons), which is what 'foregone' means numerically - rho/ceiling above 1 is a warning about the stimuli, never a result - ASAP is wired but has NEVER engaged: it needs 8 observations on a (source, codec) cell and the live maximum is 4 across 186 cells, so every pair ever served came from the random-adjacent fallback - metric scores are ingested, never computed by the server; JXL reaches the near-lossless band but not every browser can decode it Dated docs corrected in place with [note] markers rather than rewritten, so the original claim and its correction both stay readable: - methodology.md §11 and STUDY.md said ASAP was 'not yet wired'. It is — and the more consequential correction is that being wired is not being reached. - README lever #4 described a metric-ensemble filter that was never built; it now genuinely is one. Lever #7 said honeypots run at ~1/30; the code has always said 1/12. Lever #14 claimed ~3x discrimination from AIC-3 boosting; the paper says about 2x precision, i.e. ~4x fewer trials. - DEPLOY.md's corpus version strings have drifted twice and are now marked illustrative, with SQUINTLY_COEFFICIENT_HTTP named as the authority. - HANDOFF.md still claimed to be the complete pickup sheet at 2026-05-01. It is three months stale; it now says so and points at CLAUDE.md first. CLAUDE.md's own corpus line said imazen26-v4-test, two versions behind.
