Summary
Register Codex Trajectory as a global sidebar app alongside its existing task-panel entry. Users can open the fullscreen viewer from the left toolbar's … app list and pin it to the toolbar. Both entries share the native opening tool, which now embeds the packaged plugin icon as a PNG data URI. Update the English and Chinese usage documentation and the unreleased changelog.
Privacy impact
The native entry remains app-only and read-only. Valid caller context opens the exact task's safe summary; missing or unavailable context requires explicit local task selection. Task binding, returned trajectory content, full-detail consent, and source-log handling retain their existing behavior. Toolbar pinning is controlled by Codex.
Validation
uv run ruff format --check .uv run ruff check .uv run mypyuv run mypy --no-incremental --platform win32uv run pytest --cov --cov-report=term-missing— 542 passed; 91.84% total coverage; all focused coverage floors passed.Actual toolbar visibility and clicking in an installed desktop candidate have not been manually verified; protocol and Chromium harness coverage are separate from that check.
