Closes #183

Summary

The repo shipped its three workflows only as Claude Code slash commands in
.claude/commands/, installed by symlinking that folder — a format Claude
Code has deprecated in favor of skills, and one no other agent can consume.

This makes the repository itself the distribution package:

  • Move each workflow to the standard Agent Skills format:
    skills/holdex-contributing/SKILL.md, skills/report-bug/SKILL.md,
skills/submit-time/SKILL.md. Content is unchanged except frontmatter
added to the two skills that lacked it and rule links switched to absolute
URLs so they survive installation into other repos.
  • Package the repo as a plugin so installs are first-class, not file copies:
    • .claude-plugin/marketplace.json + .claude-plugin/plugin.json —
Claude Code marketplace (/plugin marketplace add holdex/developers,
      then /plugin install holdex@holdex)
    • .cursor-plugin/marketplace.json — Cursor repository import
    • plugin.json — Agent Plugins open standard manifest, for any
      spec-conformant tool
  • README: replace the Claude-only symlink instructions with the install
commands above (npx skills add holdex/developers stays the universal
    path).

No version is set in the plugin manifests: Claude Code then versions plugins
by git commit SHA, so users receive updates on every merge without a manual
bump.

Checks

  • claude plugin validate . passes
  • npx skills add ./ --list discovers all three skills
  • rumdl and the rules audit pass locally (same checks CI runs)

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features

    • Added installation options for supported coding agents, including Claude Code and Cursor, with guidance for global setup and updates.
    • Documented the available workflow skills for contributing, bug reporting, and time tracking.
  • Bug Fixes

    • Clarified bug report and dispute steps, including checks that stop processing when inputs or matching PR comments are ambiguous.
    • Updated contributing guidance to direct users to the bug-reporting skill when fixing issues.

Layer / File(s) Summary
Plugin manifests and installation guidance
.claude-plugin/*, .cursor-plugin/marketplace.json, plugin.json, README.md
The repository adds plugin manifests for Claude Code, Cursor, and Agent Plugins. The README documents installation options and lists three skills.
Contributing and time-submission instructions
skills/holdex-contributing/SKILL.md, skills/submit-time/SKILL.md
The contributing skill uses reference-style links and directs fix-PR attribution to the report-bug skill. The submit-time skill adds metadata and clarifies how to extract the time value.
Bug report and dispute instructions
skills/report-bug/SKILL.md
The skill clarifies attribution requirements, input validation, and PR lookup. It requires exactly one matching prior comment before posting a dispute.

These narrow workflow issues can reject invalid input incorrectly, miss an ambiguous dispute, or prevent the Claude marketplace handoff from opening the bug-report skill. Other installation paths remain available, so the risk is bounded, but the affected instructions should be corrected.

Full details: Out of Scope Changes check

Explanation

skills/report-bug/SKILL.md changes workflow behavior beyond packaging. It adds a required attribution rule for every fix PR and changes dispute lookup and comment-match behavior. Issue #183 requests a format and distribution change, and the PR description states that workflow content remains unchanged apart from frontmatter and link changes.

Re: the Out of Scope Changes pre-merge warning on skills/report-bug/SKILL.md — this is a false positive from rename detection.

The flagged rules do not come from this PR; they exist verbatim in the base branch's .claude/commands/report-bug.md:

That base file already says "Required for every PR whose title starts with fix", already defines the two dispute-lookup modes with --state all, and already requires "exactly one such PR/comment match". Git records the change as a rename at 55% similarity; the only content edits on top of the move are added name/description frontmatter, an # Report Bug heading (rumdl MD041), one word ("this command" → "this skill"), and line reflow to satisfy MD013. No workflow behavior is added or changed, and the diff matches the scope of:

The two genuinely valid findings from the line comments (handle length cap, --limit 1 dispute lookup) describe this same pre-existing text and are deferred to a follow-up Problem issue per DEV-320, as noted in the thread replies.

@zolotokrylin I opened this without prior agreement, so feel free to close it if the
direction is wrong. Context in one line: the repo's workflows were Claude-only
slash commands on a deprecated path; this PR turns them into standard Agent
Skills and packages the repo as a plugin, so npx skills add holdex/developers
works for any agent.
