Prepare 0.5.0 with reusable CDJ configuration profiles, native settings push and optional connection rules; automatic bounded load-incident capture; and the current Browse, MENU and Set History layouts.
Clean up diagnostic ownership, test port isolation, source export and native packaging. Align product versions and refresh the public Mac/RPi guides and screenshots. Source publication excludes private data and standalone tablet files; the tablet documentation is limited to using a headless Pi display.
Validation: 214 application Rust tests, 111 UI tests, 240 protocol tests, 48 NFS tests, serving diagnostics, Python helpers, strict Clippy and TypeScript checks. The exported source passed the full application checks. Both Mac architectures and Pi ARM64 packages built locally, with packaged Mac smoke checks and artifact verification. One mounted-USB hardware test remains opt-in; hardware coverage is documented in compatibility.md.
