Abstract

While inspecting light curves from the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS), I found two eclipses each in the Sun-like stars TIC 149762453 and TIC 332229223. Combining TESS with archival photometry, mainly from the Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System, I determined their periods: 23.21889±0.00041 days for TIC 149762453, a candidate double-lined spectroscopic binary, and 23.675868 ± 0.000013 days for TIC 332229223. Modeling the eclipses’ shapes and durations while incorporating Gaia astrometry and radial velocities from Gaia and the Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope suggests both orbits are highly eccentric (e≈0.60 and 0.67).
