Details

Trail adds buttons above the chat box for what an agent session is working on: its task doc or issue, its GitLab merge requests and GitHub pull requests with live status (state, CI, conflicts, commits behind, approval), and, on demand, the files and pages the session touched. Rebase, Update branch and Merge are available behind a confirmation that names the request by project and number.

  • Requires Paseo 0.13 or later; daemon on macOS or Linux.
  • No runtime dependencies and no build step: only host-provided libraries and Node built-ins. yarn.lock covers the development dependencies used by typecheck and tests.
  • New Claude and Codex agents get a small trail MCP server (bin/trail-mcp.mjs, Node built-ins only) with one pin_link tool.
  • Network: GitLab and GitHub APIs only. A token is sent only to the host it was set up for and never along a redirect; a GitLab host named only by a link or a project file is not contacted until the user sets it up. Every request has a time limit and a bounded body.
  • Credentials: a token pasted in Settings (stored under $PASEO_HOME/trail, readable only by the user), an environment variable or token file named in the user's personal config, the daemon's environment, or an existing glab / gh login.
  • Subprocesses (execFile, no shell): git rev-parse in the agent's working directory, and glab / gh to read an existing login.
  • Files: reads the task folder and files the agent touched (up to 512 KB each); writes only under $PASEO_HOME/trail.

OVERVIEW.md (with Vietnamese and Simplified Chinese translations), README setup and configuration reference, an icon and five interface images are declared in the manifest.

Trail: @ttquoccuong, approved and merged. I completed the pinned registry record; your listing pages and images are retained, and nothing else is needed from you.
