🧑💻 I'm a full-stack software engineer at Beyond 12, an ed-tech nonprofit whose mission is to increase college graduation rates for underrepresented students. I'm one of three engineers building our coaching platform end to end - a Django/React app on GCP covering both a coach-facing communications platform and a student-facing web app that combines a generative AI coach with access to human coaches. Day to day, my work spans RAG pipelines, LLM eval frameworks, Twilio telephony, auth, and building custom Claude Code harnesses (multi-agent orchestration, Jira integration) so a two-person team can ship like a much bigger one.
🧪 In a past life I was a chemical engineer, working on everything from predictive analytics to alternative fuels. Between careers I attended the Recurse Center and embarked on a year-long backpacking honeymoon around the world (in 2020...you can imagine how that ended), side-hustling as a professional photographer along the way.
