# 🌱 GreenPulse ### Renewable Energy Potential Analysis | Python • GIS • Data🧩 Build the idea. Connect the data. Test the model. Improve the system.
GreenPulse is a Science & Engineering project exploring how geographic, environmental and technical data can be combined to identify areas with interesting renewable energy potential.
The project was built as a practical way to connect programming, data analysis, GIS and renewable energy concepts.
Think of GreenPulse like building with LEGO:
🧩 Each parameter is a piece
🔗 The model connects the pieces
🧪 The system is tested
📊 The results are analyzed
⚙️ The model can then be improved
The goal is not simply to display data, but to understand how different parameters interact in a simplified engineering model.
GreenPulse evaluates several parameters that can influence renewable energy potential:
| Parameter | Role |
|---|---|
| ☀️ Solar irradiance | Available solar energy |
| 🏠 Roof area | Potential installation surface |
| ⛰️ Terrain slope | Geographic suitability |
| ⚡ Grid distance | Connection consideration |
| 🌡️ Temperature | Environmental factor |
| 📍 Geographic location | Spatial analysis |
These parameters are combined into a simplified potential score /100.
GreenPulse includes an interactive map to visualize the analyzed areas.
Users can:
- 📍 Explore geographic locations
- 🗺️ Visualize potential areas
- 🔎 Select individual zones
- 📊 Compare scores
- 🔍 Filter results
- 📋 Inspect the underlying data
Geographic information is handled using GeoJSON and GIS concepts.
GreenPulse follows a simplified data-driven workflow:
🌍 Geographic Data ↓ 📊 Data Processing ↓ 🔬 Parameter Analysis ↓ ⚙️ Weighted Model ↓ 📈 Potential Score ↓ 🗺️ Interactive Visualization ↓ 💡 Engineering Interpretation
Version 3 introduces a geographic information component using GeoJSON and GIS tools.
The geographic data are converted into spatial points and displayed on an interactive map, allowing different areas to be visualized and compared.
- Renewable energy potential score
- Geographic data processing
- Interactive GIS map
- Area selection
- Potential classification
- Data filtering
- Comparison of different zones
- Data table and visualization
GreenPulse uses a simplified weighted scoring model to combine different geographic and environmental parameters.
The current model is an educational prototype, not a real engineering energy assessment. Real-world analysis would require validated solar, climatic, topographic, building and electrical-grid data.
