I build local-first camera and security software in .NET through Kalytera Systems.

Open source

  • Maintainer of IPCamLapse, an Apache-2.0 application that captures IP-camera snapshots and creates H.264 time-lapse videos on Windows and Linux.
  • Maintainer of OpenCamInterop, an Apache-2.0 .NET 10 library and offline EventLab for turning sanitized Frigate and ONVIF event quirks into deterministic CloudEvents compatibility tests.

Recent upstream work

  • Microsoft Kiota .NET #787 — merged fix for HTTP 304 response handling.
  • gosec #1736 — merged correction to the generated Babel Subresource Integrity hash.
  • Sentry .NET #5542 — merged fix that serializes profiling test classes correctly.
  • cctv-camera-database #326 — a verified Hikvision DS-2CD2743G2-IZS stream breakdown was incorporated into the project's v2.7.1 release with authorship preserved.

IPCamLapse includes a hardware-free demo and self-contained releases. OpenCamInterop's current alpha uses synthetic fixtures and makes no physical-device certification or ONVIF-conformance claims.
