About me

I study Quantum Engineering at UNSW Sydney and enjoy taking projects through the complete engineering process: understanding the physics, designing the circuit, writing the firmware, building the hardware, creating the enclosure, and testing the resulting data.

My strongest interests sit where software meets physical systems. I work with microcontrollers and sensors, analogue and digital circuits, soldered and perfboard prototypes, PCB design, parametric CAD, 3D printing, data analysis, and scientific visualisation.

Featured engineering builds

Project What I built Engineering areas
Hardware QRNG and Entropy Source An experimental green-LED and LM358 physical entropy-source investigation covering analogue circuit revisions, Arduino acquisition, preserved datasets, statistical audits, Python analysis and a printed enclosure sized for a future perfboard build. Analogue electronics, Arduino, breadboarding, perfboard, Python, statistics, CAD
WALL-F Waste Sorting Robot An autonomous DESN1000 ELEC waste-sorting robot that placed 2nd out of 30 teams, completed 16 correct RGB deposits in 10 minutes, and earned a High Distinction. Arduino, PixyCam, sensors, motor control, calibration, robotics
Stratologger An ESP32 environmental and inertial telemetry payload with microSD logging, a 320 by 240 mission-control display, fault reporting, documented electrical architecture and a parametric enclosure. Firmware and repository checks pass; physical bring-up and validation are the next stage. ESP32, C++, sensors, I2C/SPI, telemetry, circuit design, CAD

Scientific software

Project Focus
Quantum Circuit Sim Browser-accessible quantum circuit simulation and visualisation using Python and Flask.
Particle Collider Visualiser Interactive 3D particle-collision event display using FastAPI and Three.js.
Brahmanda Interactive universe visualisation combining cosmology, field-inspired behaviour, particle events, entropy flow and audio-reactive geometry.
VPN From Scratch Educational systems project exploring encrypted transport, packet routing and virtual network interfaces.
MMA Lab 3D Interactive 3D movement and animation experiment using web graphics and motion assets.

Long-term builds

Project Direction
AstraQPU A long-term virtual QPU runtime exploring architecture-aware scheduling, control and hardware-in-the-loop execution.

Engineering capabilities

Area Experience
Electronics Analogue and digital circuit design, component integration, breadboarding, perfboarding, soldering, debugging and electrical bring-up
PCB design Translating prototypes into organised schematics and PCB layouts, with attention to connectors, power, test points and physical constraints
Embedded systems Arduino and ESP32 firmware, sensor integration, I2C and SPI buses, telemetry, data logging, displays and status/fault systems
Mechanical design Parametric CAD, electronics enclosures, mechanism design, fit checks, FDM prototyping and design iteration
Quantum and physics Quantum circuits, Qiskit workflows, QPU architecture and runtime concepts, quantum control, entropy-source investigation, semiconductor physics and scientific visualisation
Software and data C, C++, Python, JavaScript, data acquisition, validation tools, APIs, interactive interfaces and reproducible analysis

Current work

  • Bringing Stratologger from documented firmware and electrical design into physical assembly, sensor testing and validated telemetry captures.
  • Continuing the QRNG investigation through a simpler analogue revision before transferring a verified design to perfboard and its printed enclosure.
  • Developing stronger PCB, soldering, CAD and system-integration skills through complete software-to-hardware builds.
  • Building scientific tools that make quantum, physics and engineering systems easier to inspect and understand.
