WinterRoute

WinterRoute is a Canada-focused data science project that predicts how risky and how long a commute (Vancouver / Burnaby / Surrey, V1) will be, given the route, transportation method, weather, traffic, and transit conditions — and recommends when to leave.

See docs/README.md for the project overview, architecture, and technical decision log. This project is being built incrementally in stages; see docs/decisions/ for what's been decided so far.

Built with Next.js, bootstrapped with create-next-app.

Getting Started

First, run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Geist, a new font family for Vercel.
